Subject: mesec maj šmarnice = may blossom and May devotions (in Slovenia)

I found many of your believing thoughts on the net. Thank You.
Month May is time of May devotions and prayer of rosary and reading of May devotions at mass in church.

Can you hear on the net. It is Slovenian radio of religious.
May 2003 will never come back. The weather was fine for drying of grass (= seno). Most of us finished with drying of grass. Harvest are 6/10 of normal because of dryness. From Januar to Juene it was 70% rainfall.

Today children of first class went to first Communion in our village's church. On the next Saturday we shall have mass for wedded couples (5, 10, 15, 20 ....and more years) and then they are going to meet in the classroom (for learn of religion) on short meal and discourse.
We had 20 -years of wedding last year.
I hope all of you are doing fine. May the Lord be with you all.

Hi Janez,
I hope you enjoy our web site. It is such a pleasure trying to make Jesus more known and loved, and to show what we believe to be His perspective on major events in people's lives and in the world.

Yes, May is the month of Mary. By some small coincidence Chu and I were married on May 15th. We both have a special love and devotion to this most wonderful woman, mother of the Christ. Congratulations on your 20th Wedding Anniversary last year, and may you enjoy many, many more.

I tried to bring up on my PC, but the web couldn't find the page.
We are currently having a 6 week drought, not a drop of rain - this, after weeks of steady rain.

I went to a "Disciple in Mission" talk Saturday morning by Fr. Cedric Pisegna,C.P., a Passionist priest from the Holy Name Retreat Center in Houston. He spoke about the Holy Spirit's role in helping us in evangelization - we should not miss opportunities, but we should be very gentle in every way and provide accurate information.

Take care, and may God continue to bless your family profusely,
Gene and Chu
